The granddaddy of the Kuma Wood Stove line, the Sequoia is a large full convection heater capable of heating homes above 3500 square feet. An extra-heavy built unit, the Sequoia stove will take up to 23 inch logs and features a long burn time. Clean, simple lines and efficient performance makes the Sequoia a solid choice. Available as a freestanding stove or Fireplace insert. The Sequoia features a large convection chamber which, when used as a fireplace insert, maximizes the amount of heat entering the room, and all but eliminates heat loss into the chimney, even without a blower.

" I have purchased and installed the Sequoia Insert, and let me say, about the only guy I haven’t pulled in to give a demonstration is the postman! My whole family enjoyed reading the Intro in the owner’s manual, and we applaud your decision to include the spiritual message.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the design, construction and performance of this stove. In this time where our market is flooded with “junk” brought in from foreign manufacturers, and others reducing their quality to compete strictly on a price-basis, I am pleased and proud to own a high-quality, American-made product. Thank God there are still some available.

Everything I read about your stove, and I read everything I could get my eyes on, was true: easy lighting, long burns, easy-clean glass, minimal ash, excellent fire control, amazing efficiency, enormous heat output when you want it, and, just as you said, the true convection design will put out PLENTY of heat without the optional blower - I like to describe it as the “silent flame-thrower” effect. And those peculiar little holes in the front; they do sound just like growing Sequoia! Wow! The stove even comes with an audio feature. Too cool!"

"I do not need to run my furnace at all with this stove. It heats my home all winter with 4 cords of wood and my natural gas bill is gone! I have had this fireplace insert for 8 years and it is still going strong. I love it!"
